Took a blade to the hair/brows, burns; added--dk purple, tuscan red, indigo blue;
took electric eraser to background, sprayed with workable fixative;
added tuscan, black grape, indigo, scarlet red and white.

Colors added: greyed lavender, dk brown, carmine red, dk purple, mineral orange, cloud blue;
not liking how it looked I took blu-tack and electric eraser to it;
touched up the erasing with a blender pencil.

Touch of black added to hair, eyes, jawline;
raspberry added to mid-tones and darks, plus to background;
touched up the white on lightest side of portrait.

Tuscan red was added to some of the darker areas;
indigo blue added to hair, brows, eyes, jaw line, mouth;
added a touch of tuscan red the to background.

Clay rose was added to some of the darker areas of skin;
terra cotta on hair, brows, eyes, jaw line, mouth;
continued adding a touch of same colors to background.

Warmed it up with peach and cream--
too peachy so tried to tone it down with deco pink;
deepened the darks more with sepia.

I bridged the tuscan red and white with rosy beige and pink rose;
deepened the darks with light umber and then dark umber.

Charcoal outline lifted with kneaded eraser before placing light areas with
white and darks with tuscan red--the toned paper is rosy taupe
